Good Questions for Bar Mitzvah Limousine company

Have you narrowed your bar mitzvah limo service down to a few trustworthy companies? Did you look on www.ModernMitzvah.com to search your local Bar Mitzvah Limo Service directory?

Here are a few other considerations:

1. What style vehicle are you looking for?
Coach, stretch limo, carriage, old style cars, classic, limo bus, town car??? Which limo company has what you're looking for? Also, consider your budget and the number of passengers you will be carrying.

2. You want your bar mitzvah guests to be safe. How many seat-belts are available for passengers?
The limo company will tell you how many people fit in their cars, but you don't want to squeeze guests into a tight space like sardines. To make sure they have the space to sit comfortably, ask about the number of seat belts the vehicle has. This will give you the actual number of passengers the vehicle was designed to carry. Smart?

3. Ask to see the actual vehicle that you will have on the day of your bar mitzvah.
Can you pop in to see the actual car that you'll get for transporting your bar mitzvah guests, or will they send you photos? If you are viewing pictures on a website, make sure they are up to date, and are of the actual car, not just a stock photo. You don't want the driver showing up in a chicken coop.

4. What is the age and condition of the vehicle?
Stretch limousines need repair and regular maintenance. Has the limo company been keeping up with their vehicles? You don't want to run into limo trouble on the day of your bar mitzvah.

5. How will the car be prepared on the day of your bar mitzvah?
Be sure to ask the limo company manager to clean the limo on the morning of your bar mitzvah, inside and out. Also, make sure they check the lights, television, radio, and other amenities to ensure that they are working properly. Make sure they clean the glasses and restock the snacks and drinks.

6. Is the vehicle covered with company logos and advertisements?
This might not make you feel very special on your bar mitzvah day. If there are a few ads or signs, where are they located? How visible are they?

7. How does the company select chauffeurs?
Are the drivers trained to carry out the luxury of the car by being courteous and professional? Are they licensed to drive in your state? How are drivers screened for drug use?

What is the company's deposit and cancellation policy.? It should be in the contract. Be sure to check for this before you sign. If you have to cancel, will you be able to get your deposit back in full? Don't forget to find out about final payments as well—will a check or cash on the day of your bar mitzvah - or will you have to pre-pay weeks in advance? Do they accept credit cards?

Take note of the way each limousine company handles your questions, because this is an excellent indicator of their professionalism and approach to customer service. If a company is not willing to answer your questions in a kind manner, keep moving, and look for a company that gives you informative and courteous answers to your questions. Good customer service leads to a good, clean, safe car on the day of your bar mitzvah.
